We are as Muslims seek for democracy as Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). He taught us "Shura" which is a very PERFECT synonym for today's word democracy, but because of the corruption in the government and the leaders seek for their own interests, they don't want to achieve this principle in their countries.

  2. Thank you Sumaiy, you are right, and I want to add some reasons: The officials in Muslim World are not apply what prophet Mohammad said (how can control the country). This officials know if they apply what our prophet said, they will drive away from their chairs. And because the westerners didn't have correct information about Islam and have opposite, they don't want Islamic leaders control Muslim World, and help to expatriate every thing about Islam. You may Ask me: Where's the natives? This is a big problem I will write about it in an other time.

  3. allow to me begin with there is difference between " there are no democracy in the muslim world " and " there are no democracy in Islam " because our ISLAMIC HISTORY IS RICH WITH SITUATION WHICH Muslims and our great prophet Mohammed apply the the best democracy which depends on justice and respect the all even if rich or poor , have power or authority in the government or not ,the importance is if this person has the best opinion or not .
concerning the speach about " there are no democracy in the muslim world " yes because the muslim world is follow to their government .

  4. Thank you Alshaimaa, I agree with you. But I want to say: not Muslim world is follow to their government just, but also Muslims don't apply what our prophet said on themselves firstly, so can't create democratic government.

  5. This question is good, but the democracies were found in some cases and not in other cases. Generally, no democracies in anything concerning of the choice of President and problems of the area because this is the policy of the government.

  6. This question has a bit of an overstatement in it. It depends on your definition of democracy.
    One definition:
Two peaceful transfers of power to elected civilian leadership.
Even by this definition things are not clear. But there are some fragile, young democracies in the Muslim world including Albania.

  8. thank you Bob, Tucson, Arizona, USA for your question but
the good answer there in the west ask your government
Because the West, which occupied our country when he went out, before leaving has left power in the hands of the traitors, so do the same role he performed colonization, and work to weaken their own people, not for Islam related thereto, many of the rulers who hate Islam, they adore the United States and Russia previously
