I think this kind of scenes is censored in Egypt because it is not culturally and religiously appropriate scenes to watch, Egypt is a Muslim country and i think even America censors some of this scenes too. I heard that American Censorship deleted a scene for Tom cruez and Nicol Kidman movie "Eyes Wide Shout", it is not all about freedom it is about what's appropriate and what is not.
I think there isn't any religion allows to homosexuality in our life. It's role for all religions. Also, the socity doesn't accept this thing. Naturealty, Allah put in our mind that this thing is very very bad, so it's forbeden. Because uor country is Muslim, we didn't, doesn't and will not allow to this bad thing. Also, more doctors declared: the homosexuality affects in health until death. You shoud know that anything Allah quits it, it's very harmful, and anything Allah orders, it's very very useful and benfit for us, SO we should thank Allah(our God) all time.
In Egypt the society differs from the others. When any kind of movies is on the TV, all the family set and watch it (father, mother, kids), so, there is no age range for these movies. Also, the movie channels do not put the announcement during the movie as it appropriate for children or not. So, if these inappropriate scenes displayed on the small screen, while the kids are watching, it will not be of the best next generation to see. In addition, USA, as a conservative society, such as Goerge W Bush, has a censorship on inappropriate movies.
Yes there are kinds of censorship on western movies because Islam bans this and the public do not like this material to be shown in their houses. Mahmoud, Cairo
Yes, I see that is culturally not acceptable not appropriate and I respect that. Do you think it is possible to make it stronger and more meaningful if you can screen and censor what is harmful to you in your own mind based on your beliefs and faith? I am very sorry if my question sounds offensive.
we have special culture and special tradation that agree with our islam so that of course must be a control on American films because they contain many sights against Islam such as violence, sex scenes, and scenes of sexual homosexuality and sensuality and many of the things that are incompatible with the tolerance of Islam and the purity of Islam
