This is true. If we look at the current position in the world, what we see, America supports Israel all down the line and extends Israel support, money and force against all Muslims in all countries. Why doesn't America support Palestine? Why is America against any support of Muslims? Why does America build prisons in many countries (e.g. Cuba) to arrest Muslims? I don't think that Americans hate Muslims. Searching travelers in airports is necessary for everyone security and, is not restricted on Muslims only, I saw them searching everyone while I was travelling to the United States. The number of Mosques in the United States is another evidence for my opinion. I remember even the shuttle driver, he was so kind and he asked me “are you Muslim?” I said “how did you know?” he said “because you said Salam to your friend before leaving him at the station”.
I think it's important to distinguish between the institutions and the people of a nation, just as in this other conversation about the corrupt governments of the Islamic world (http://al-azhar-americaprojectpm.blogspot.com/2010/02/why-are-there-no-democracies-in-muslim.html?showComment=1272076112918). The institutions in the USA are (as far as I can tell) clearly anti-Islam, and there are - of course - enough people who support those institutions and allow them to continue. However, the USA is a huge and varied country - and there are open-minded, informed, lovely people anywhere. ALSO - there are many American Muslims!

Hello Al Yamany. Thank you for your comments. I have lived in Egypt for a year and a half and have heard many students at Al Azhar University say this exact thing to me. And as you can see, Emad El-Din above (who is an Azhar student), agrees with the statement. You asked if I want to make problems between people in Egypt and people in America. No I do not, I want to do the opposite and create friendships and understanding between Muslims and Westerners. Why do you think that asking this question will create problems between Egyptians and Westerners? I am not sure I understand your last question, about asking me the same question. You can of course ask me but I am an American and I think Egyptians might be able to give a more accurate answer.
