What do Egyptian people really feel about about fasting (Ramadan)? Are there any negative reactions?

  1. Would you please explain in details what do you mean with (negative reactions)?
I am sure that negative reactions (if there is any) are due to human behavior, not the fasting itself.

  3. Actually Ramadan is very very nice month for all Muslims, and it like time to fresh sorts of Muslims.
And there are some negatives in Ramadan and it repeated each year. But in Ramadan you can forgive and forget any negatives easily, this one of most wonderful feature in Ramadan.
I hope you can visit Egypt one year at Ramadan to see different country, and the same for any Muslim country.
